Sasolwax^® Fischer-Tropsch waxes are synthetically produced in a controlled manner from carbon monoxide and hydrogen as feed. This results in their consistently high quality.

Sasolwax^® Fischer-Tropsch waxes consist mainly of saturated, straight chain hydrocarbons with almost no branches. This linear structure of Sasolwax^® Fischer-Tropsch waxes is responsible for the many desirable properties of Sasolwax^® Fischer-Tropsch waxes.
