Overdipping waxes are used to give a candles a glossy or matt surface. These blends are also suitable for colouring with pigment colours. Standard grades are Sasolwax KTM 17 and KTM 23. Sasol Wax has also developed special overdipping waxes giving candles surfaces of ice crystalline structure of other special effects.
