In November 2004 for the first time ever Sasol Wax GmbH with their emulsion sites in England, Norway and Austria was successfully certified according to OHSAS 18001, the occupational safety management system.

Thus a further milestone in the already for years successful work in the area of occupational safety was reached. The successful integration of the requirements of the OHSAS 18001 into the well established management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 14001 was confirmed with the perpetuation of these certificates.

The continuous advancement of our integrated management system is furthermore shown in the successfully completed integration of Merkur Vaseline GmbH (DIN EN ISO 9001 and 14001), Rubitherm GmbH & Co. KG (DIN EN ISO 9001) as well as the emulsion sites outside Germany into the existing management system of Sasol Wax GmbH during the last year.
Common certifying of all companies in November 2004 ensures the successful implementation of our company policy.
