HydroWax 170 has been developed to give excellent water resistance properties to greenboards, which is drywall suitable for humid areas.
It contains carefully selected waxes in combination with finely tuned additives without using silicone.

As an advantage HydroWax 170 does not impact any foam generating surfactants contained in the gypsum slurry. This ensures the production of greenboards with consistent thickness and density.

Further more HydroWax 170 ensures the processability, flowability, setting as well as adhesion of the paper sheets to the core. In addition it does not interfere the internal recycling of greenboards.
