During the whole project the runway was completely closed. For this project Sasobit® wasn’t chosen due to the temperature reduction aspects, but mainly due to the increased stability and the improvement of the paving conditions.
The asphalt binder course was finally “sealed” with a 3 mm ANTISKID-coating.
